My Curiosity Guides Me.

I started this adventure in Delaware in 2012. At that time, I didn’t imagine that I would eventually travel to other countries and paint my experiences, on location. In the beginning, it was just a hobby to increase my painting skills in the studio.

My Journey

2012 - The Beginning

I began painting outside after being inspired by Monet and other artists who painted on location. This was a way (I thought) for me to improve my studio paintings indoors. And so I painted outside when I could, and sometimes with a plein air group.

2013 - Heading West

I decided to move to California after college and open a new chapter in my life. I painted and made videos in all my free time. I wasn’t able to travel much due to my limited resources so I would paint inside and sometimes go out in my neighborhood to paint in the evening.

2015 - The Visual Start

I purchased a better quality camera and began filming my outdoor experiences to share and document my process and what I’ve done.

2018 - Year of Travel

I went to Alaska in May but unfortunately didn’t film any of my travels or painting processes. When I came back from that trip, I streamlined my entire setup - painting and filming gear - to prepare for another trip. The next trip was to England and Paris in August - which was completely documented and filmed.

2019 - Island Experience

I spent 3 weeks in Maui and painted a lot in many different kinds of locations. From the ocean to the highest point on top of a volcano. Epic experience but I only mainly filmed the painting processes.

2021 - Stuck Inside

My plein air slowed down a bit in the past year but near the end of this year, I’ve started to get back outside more. From now and into the future, my goal is capture more of the stories of my experiences and the places I go to.
