Road to Mt. Kinabalu

One early morning, I went out walking and taking photos around a main road in the village of Kundasang in Malaysia, and this is one of those scenes from that morning. The background of this painting features the top of Mt. Kinabalu bathed in morning light (which is usually the only time to see the mountain, the rest of the day it�s usually surrounded by clouds). It also shows the surrounding hills and small houses and farms throughout. The main feature here though is the road winding through the hills, leading to the mountain. In reality, this road leads to a popular dairy farm which offers beautiful views as well.
In the foreground to middleground of the painting, features a small bridge in a section of the road and actually beneath it runs a small river which offers water for the village.
